All of our staff have intensive pre-camp training. In addition, Camp Fire Long Beach has its own high standards. Camp Fire Day Camps meet ACA standards in all areas: health and safety, program quality, staff qualifications, sanitation, and site/facility issues. Designed and implemented to reduce sexual, racial, religious, and cultural stereotypes and to foster positive intercultural relationships, in Camp Fire, everyone is welcome.Ĭompliance with hundreds of standards is required for accreditation by the American Camp Association (ACA).
